KWI have an amazing wealth of welding industry experience and their welding program is focused on getting graduates as employable as possible. As an ATF (Accredited Testing Facility) for the American Welding Society, KWI is able to certify students to any industry code and offer testing services to companies and contractors needing their welders qualified for upcoming projects.

KWI focuses on ensuring students have the skills that the industry needs. The program focuses on getting you over the line with certification by full-time training, with one hour a day in the classroom and seven hours doing what we love – hands-on training! During their time, students weld SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, and GMAW on Miller and Lincoln inverter and generator machines and each student has their own dedicated booth. Students also spend adequate time welding in simulators, out of position, and outside in the elements ensuring they can make those field welds. In addition to making graduates great welders, KWI packs their resume with industry respected certifications and credentials including NCCER, NCCCO, OSHA-30, MSHA-24, ASHI, TWIC, Basic Plus, and CCS. In fact, KWI is an NCCER Accredited Training Sponsor and Accredited Assessment Site enabling them to test and certify individuals with NCCER’s Silver and Gold Cards in Pipefitting, Boiler making, Rigger, and Signal Person.

They are a friendly welding school with CWI, Bobby Pease, a military veteran. KWI maintains a 15:1 student to instructor ratio with staff who care about one-to-one attention and helping you gain employment after certification. We can’t recommend them enough!
